Tamil Nadu Pengal Nala Sangam was founded in 1954 by Smt.V.Veerammal born in a poor, agricultural family in the village of Tirupparayathurai. Highly talented in acting, she rose to become a famous artist in All India Radio, Trichy. The sangam was first registered as Tamil Nadu Scheduled Vakuppu Pengal Nala Sangam, to involve educated schedulded case women in social work. Later on it was named as Tamil Nadu Pengal Nala Sangam to serve the cause of socially disadvantage women and children.

The Sangam has been helping orphan girls, deserted women, widows and poor women and children irrespective of religion, caste and creed, since 1954. Welcome to Annai Ashramam Website!
